{Top Ten Tuesday} My Top Ten New Adult Books

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created here at The Broke and the Bookish. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

I'm trying a new Tuesday Meme this week. I've seen the Top Ten Tuesday lists floating around on the bloggosphere and I always enjoy reading them, so why not join in on the fun. This week's Top Ten Topic is:

Top Ten All Time Favorite Books in the New Adult Genre
(These are in no particular order)

Wait for You by J. Lynn
Be With Me by J. Lynn
Easy by Tammara Webber

Slammed by Colleen Hoover (Actually anything by Colleen Hoover)

Ruin by Rachel Van Dyken
Lucky Number Four by Amanda Jason

 Charade by Nyrae Dawn
Facade by Nyrae Down

Rule (Not Pictured) by Jay Crownover
Jet by Jay Crownover
Rome by Jay Crownover

I've only now realized just how far behind I am in reviews. I only listed a couple by each author. J. Lynn, Colleen Hoover, Rachel Van Dyken, Nyrae Dawn, and Jay Crownover have won a fan for life!!!

I'm certain I missed a few since it's hard to choose just a few books, but these will do for today! Happy Top Ten Tuesday everyone! Let me know what your faves are, of any genre in my comments. If you happen to be a new follower, let me know so I can follow you back!

  1. I recently read my first ever NA book (He Belongs With Me by Sarah Darlington) and LOVED it. Maybe I'll use this list to get some ideas for what NA to read next. :) Great Top Ten Tuesday!

    1. Ashley,

I highly recommend Easy by Tammara Webber and Colleen Hoover is one author you must read, Hopeless is another great book by her. She has so many fascinating novels out, I just chose my favorite. And J. Lynn, AKA Jennifer L. Armentrout, has several good NA books out too. The two I posted are the novels I would recommend though. And I've just started reading Rachel Van Dyken... Ruin is my favorite so far. And if you read Jay Crownover, Rule is her first book in this series and it's good, but Jet and Rome are so much better. It is best to read them in order though. Thank you for stopping by!

  2. I've heard awesome feedback about Jay Crownover's books and Rule is the first book I'm planning to read from that collection. And I should really try J. Lynn's NA series. I loved Jennifer Armentrout's Lux series, although technically I'm only on Book 2 but it's awesome still. :)

Thanks for sharing! Here's My Top Ten :)

    1. Definitely start with Rule because all the characters reappear in each book, plus it sets up Rome's story. It's not her best writing, but Jet and Rome are both much better. As far as J. Lynn, Wait for You is my favorite. Cam's my all time favorite book boyfriend. I hope you enjoy. And the rest of the Lux series is awesome sauce! (I haven't read the last one, but...) Thanks for stopping by and I'm off to look at your top 10.

    1. A lot of the girls in my book group had mentioned Charade a long time back and I never read it, then when Facade came out, I decided I had to. I loved them. Hope you do too! I'm headed over to your blog now!

    1. Hey Jessica, there are starting to be more paranormal New Adult books. I think it just took time to establish what a New Adult book was and how to make them paranormal. I hope you find some you like!

I'm headed to your Tuesday post. I always love seeing what you're reading!

  5. YAY! Another awesome blogger who chose NA for this list! I had Slammed and Easy on mine too. I've read so many, it was hard to narrow them down to just 10!

    1. It is way to hard to narrow them down. Colleen Hoover is one of my favorites, but if I'd listed all of hers, there wouldn't have been room for many others. I'm headed to see your list now. Maybe I can find some good TBR books.

  6. Easy was so good - if any of these are at least a little similar, I'll definitely add them to my TBR list. :)

    1. With the exception of Lucky Number Four, I would say that each of these books pull at the heart strings in different ways and hold the same types of tension and distress. I would recommend any of them to you.

  7. I´ve only read and loved Slammed and Easy. Nice list!
