Wow guys! It's been an amazing month. 50 bloggers joined together to support the release of Insurgent by Veronica Roth! We were divided into 5 factions: Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless, Candor, and finally Amity! As a part of #TeamAmity, I got to work with a group of amazing bloggers and met some truly amazing people along the way.
HarperTeen, just minutes ago, made the official release announcing the winner.
Yes, that is in fact Veronica Roth, and you heard her right... We did it.#TeamAmity WON but that's not really the important part. The five factions worked together to make Insurgent a success. The book is simply amazing and I hope each of you will take the time to read the Divergent Series.
I want to give a huge thanks to HarperTeen and Veronica Roth for including Better Read Than Dead in this promotion. I also want to acknowledge my wonderful faction member and encourage each of you to follow and participate with each of these blogs. All are phenomenal!

I think these are most excellent choices, though, I really like Zac Effron for Four and he was a very close second.

HarperTeen just sent a new email, changing the rules and I'm super excited for the change. Some of you may have noticed over the weekend that when you clicked the #TeamAmity link, it took you to Tumblr where you got to see all sorts of cool stuff involving Amity. Then come Monday and the #OtherTeamAmity link went up and it directs you to the HarperTeen Insurgent Website which gives you some very valuable information on Insurgent and the buy links.
Today, we have been told that they are going to promote both links and add the total traffic between the two sites because some of us worried that one site might now be as fun as the other site, but one site is more Insurgent informative than the other, which is just fun stuff. So, I'm going to be changing up my links...again, but I will continue to have both links on my blog and on my giveaways. I want to thank you all for participating and helping us make this promotion a success. When a book is as fabulous as Divergent was and as Insurgent promises to be (I can tell you that from experience), it deserves as much support as we can give it.

So, I nearly locked my dog in a closet because she made me so mad.
I heard a light tapping on my front door and, of course, my little Ella starts yapping and yapping. My husband was trying to get to the door and I'm trying to wrangle the barking Shit Tzu so she won't shred the ankles of whoever dared to knock on my door so frickin' early in the morning.
You can imagine the thoughts going through my head...I mean, after all, it's only 9:30 AM and I hadn't had my coffee yet. I know, most people are well on their way by 9:30 AM...not me.
Anywhoo...when I finally got to see what all the hubbub was about...this is what I found. I, like most of the other bloggers out there, had NO idea this was coming.
Okay...so who needs coffee now? Not me because this made my day or week, hell, probably my month. See that pretty little letter on the right...well, it contained some important information. I don't have a lot of details but let me tell you what I do know...borrowed from The Divergent Lexicon's initial announcement.
Harper Collins selected five bloggers to lead faction teams in an ‘Insurgent’ fan-driven promotion/click-through challenge. The Divergent Lexicon is my team leader!
Starting Monday April 2nd, the five sites above, will lead faction teams in a click-through challenge. In addition to the team leader’s blogs, each team will have 9 other bloggers (54 total! One being our blog. Sqwee!!) inducted into their faction. Those bloggers will also receive a copy of the highly coveted Insurgent ARC. The team members (who have already been selected by Harper Collins) will be announced on Choosing Ceremony day, Monday April 2nd.

Each faction team will then compete against each throughout the month of April to see who can generate the most reader traffic. We’ll have more information on how you can support Team Amity next week when everything kicks off.
