The goal of this challenge is to help each other (fellow readers and
bloggers) manage our enormous and constantly growing TBR (To-Be-Read)
List. The rules are simple and everyone is encouraged to participate. It
does not force you to commit to more than what you can manage to read
in a week or so, but participants are encouraged to read at least one
book within a week. You are free to choose the book you want to read and
commit to this challenge. You may post your entry every Saturday, at
the frequency of your choice--EVERY WEEK or EVERY TWO WEEKS. However, we
will sponsor this event regularly every Saturday.
Yeah! I did it...I finished Wither by Lauren DeStefano...and I enjoyed it. (Shhh...I finished it about an hour ago, don't tell though.) LOL.
It won't go on my favorites list but I did get drawn into the story. There were a few things that creeped me out and I found inappropriate but that's just me...review to come soon.
This week I am going to read Hereafter by Tara Hudson. This book has been on my TBR Shelf since July 2011. I've seen mixed reviews...I really hope I like it.
And...if I happen to get Divergent in before the end of the week, I hope to squeeze it in also. If not...it will be my TBR for next week. I will just have to see how fast Barnes & Nobles gets it to me.
Hereafter! I'm so glad that's your next choice. I've heard mixed reviews, too - and can't wait to hear your opinion. I might want to read it - ghost stories and all.
ReplyDeleteI'm also curious about your Wither review - what's the worrying part and all that.
Hope you enjoy your reading this week!
Ron @ Stories at my life
I have Wither on my TBR because I have heard so many great things about Fever! I am glad that it was really good.

I can't wait to read Fever. I hope it is the best book ever. LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDelete"Breast milk thing?" Oh good Lord. I've had Wither sitting on my shelf for awhile, but just have never been in the mood for it. It seems like one of those books you definitely have to be in the mood for.
ReplyDeleteHereafter. I really enjoyed Hereafter. It was just a really sweet story. And Divergent is definitely a fun read. Four. Oh Four... lol. Hope B&N comes through for you this week!
Good luck!
I really want to read Wither! I´m glad you enjoyed it!!
ReplyDeleteHereafter is on my shelf, and list, too.
I´ll be looking forward what you think!
Happy reading!
Hi Kristin! I'm glad that you enjoyed Wither =) I have a copy too (Thanks to Lis) but I haven't read it yet. Hereafter has mixed reviews so I'm curious about your opinion of the book. I hope you'll enjoy it! =) miss you! xoxo!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Wither may never be counted as one of my favorites but it did elicit such strong thoughts and lot of time pondering things. It really was different.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your TBRIC book this week.
I'm glad you finished your TBR. I felt the dame about Wither, good, but not a top lister. Enjoy Hereafter, I'd be interested to see your thoughts on that one as it is in my TBR as well.
