Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine, it spotlilghts upcoming releases that we are dying to read.
I haven't done one of these in a super long time, but since I read the first two chapters online today, I'm super excited about this book!
Title: Onyx
Series: Lux #2
Author: Jennifer L Armentrout
Synopsis:
Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…
Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarre connection. I’ve sworn him off even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But against all common sense, I’m falling for him. Hard.
Our relationship issues aren’t out biggest problem…
The Department of Defense is here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And when a new boy shows up a school with a secret of his own, things get complicated fast. I need to choose between my own instincts and Daemon’s.
But then everything changes…
I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. Daemon’s never going to stop searching until gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?
No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies.
I really want to read this one too! While I loved Obsidian, I did feel it was a little cliche so I hope this one will change that!

I need to read this series. Everyone is talking about how great they are. Thanks for stopping by
ReplyDeleteYou must read this series. I love it! Aiden and Seth are both so sexy, it's hard to choose just one.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we are all hoping for Jennifer's books this week. She needs to hurry up. LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Val! Thanks so much for swinging by. I checked out your WoW and loved it!
ReplyDeleteRight? I really need to read this book soon. I read the first two chapters and feel cheated. LOL
ReplyDeleteShe's got some terrific books out. Jennifer's witty and her dialog pulls you in. Her characters are always fun, even when they're asses, like Daemon. When you get a chance, check out the Covenant Series...Half-Blood and Pure. I like them better than the Lux series, but just barely!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!! The first books were fantastic. But this one's the absolute best so far. Mrs. Armentrout is a wonderful writer. So far I have to say I enjoy her books thoroughly. I love the paranormal, the supernatural, & Science Fiction, apparently as much as she does writing them.
