{#TeamAmity} The Faction that Won

Wow guys! It's been an amazing month. 50 bloggers joined together to support the release of Insurgent by Veronica Roth! We were divided into 5 factions: Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless, Candor, and finally Amity! As a part of #TeamAmity, I got to work with a group of amazing bloggers and met some truly amazing people along the way.

HarperTeen, just minutes ago, made the official release announcing the winner.

Yes, that is in fact Veronica Roth, and you heard her right... We did it. #TeamAmity WON but that's not really the important part. The five factions worked together to make Insurgent a success. The book is simply amazing and I hope each of you will take the time to read the Divergent Series.
I want to give a huge thanks to HarperTeen and Veronica Roth for including Better Read Than Dead in this promotion. I also want to acknowledge my wonderful faction member and encourage each of you to follow and participate with each of these blogs. All are phenomenal!

{#TeamAmity} Your Dream Cast

All right! Your dream cast for Four and Tris are...Max Irons and Saoirse Ronan!

I think these are most excellent choices, though, I really like Zac Effron for Four and he was a very close second.

Since I didn't get many suggestions for the other characters, I'm going to send you over to the Divergent Lexicon (our team leader) where they have done a terrific job of casting ALL the characters in The Divergent Series. Be sure you run on over and take a look.

Yes, today is the end-all, be-all of #DivergentNation and #TeamAmity and we're headed straight for the win...we couldn't have done it without you. Each and every person who has clicked our links and/or will click them today has shown the true spirit of the Amity Faction. I know Divergent didn't get into the nitty-gritty of Amity, but I promise Insurgent will. How do I know? Well, I've read the book silly. I haven't written my review, but I promise it's getting 5+ Stars. Yes, that is how good it is, it deserves more than 5 Stars.

This is the very last day of the contest...go click those links.

Synopsis:

One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth's much-anticipated second book of the dystopian Divergent series is another intoxicating thrill ride of a story, rich with hallmark twists, heartbreaks, romance, and powerful insights about human nature.
