Synopsis:

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.

  3. Super excited to read this after finishing The Indigo Spell. I'm not sure how I feel about the cover since orange is not a color I'm a fan of, but I'm still going to add it to my collection. Thanks for sharing!

  7. I hate the cover art!! I really hate this one but I haven't been a fan of any of them. The girl portraying Sydney looks nothing like what myself or anyone belonging to my book reviewing society incisions her to be. The guy who was suppose to be Marcus on The Indigo Spells cover is a down right shame. Marcus is suppose to be unimaginably good looking and have chin length blonde hair, neither of these things does that guy posses. Adrian, while his "poser" isn't exactly unattractive, isn't at all up to the standards of Adrian in the minds of fans. Also, richelle mead needs to get a new proof reader! There are so many mistakes in her book series that it isn't even funny. Not only grammar and spelling and punctuation but full out words and names. Christian's name is in the place of Adrian's at one point in the book. Please correct these things. Get a new Sydney or in my opinion, just keep actual people off the covers period. You could have brilliant cover art without trying to use real people. It only messes things up worse when they become a movie or television show and the people fans are use to seeing as the characters aren't them anymore.

  9. What a fun review! I am one of those whose been slow to warm up to Sydney, but I did like her a lot in TIS. I thought this was such a funny book, too! So glad you enjoyed it so much.
