Follow Friday and Blog Hop

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

Oh, I like this question.

I tend to be really unsure of myself and feel completely weird it company that I do not know. I have always wanted to be one of those girls who was confident, strong, and a leader...like Calla Tor in Nightshade, by Andrea Cremer. I would love to be Calla and have the problems (ie...Ren vs Shay) that she has. LOL!

Calla is so strong and does what she believes is right. She is respected by her pack to the point that they would do anything for her. She never whines...she just acts. Oh, to be Calla!

“What’s the LONGEST book you’ve ever read?”
(Note: I’m putting one caveat on this question. You aren’t allowed to say the Bible, Torah, Qur’an, or other religious/spiritual text.)

Gosh, this is a hard question...I would have to say The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larson, or one of its sequels. Most of the books I read are about the same length, but those books seemed to take forever to read, even though I loved them.

  6. The books I typically read are around the same length as well. Give or take some, depending on the author as well!

Seeing Nightshade quite a bit today too! I think having Calla's problem--Shay or Ren--wouldn't be too bad either if that was the worst of it!

  7. You want Calla's problems, huh? How do you choose between breaking Shey's heart or Ren's? Not sure I want that job. =)

  11. Thanks for stopping by my FF earlier!
Breaking Dawn is physically longer than each of the Millennium Trilogy books, but BD was such a quick read for 756 pages, so I almost forgot about it too, I actually had to check page counts on Shelfari to see what my longest book was because I can never remember what book has how many pages.

  12. I love Andrea Cremer's Nightshade series too! Have you read Wolfsbane yet? SO GOOD! I can't wait until Bloodrose comes out!

You're definitely right when you say that Calla's an awesome female character! And to have two guys like Shay and Ren by your side? That would be pure awesomeness! :)

Hope you have the most amazing weekend, Kristin!
