Follow Friday 9/16/2011

Q.It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?
Answer: Hmmm... This is a tough one. I have read so many amazing books that fascinate me. I'm going to have to choose two on this one. And they are complete opposites...
I would love to live in Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instrument Series. They completely kick-ass! Clary and Isabel rock! And then there's Jace. I would really like to meet Magnus in the real world. So many amazing ventures and so many fantastical creatures (okay, and a little scary.)

And then, I would love to live in Amy Plum's Die For Me world because it is romantic and supernatural. I love her revenants and Paris? Who could refuse Paris?

  1. Hopping through. I'd love to be in Amy Plum's world too. That was one of my choices.

  2. I want to meet Magnus so bad too!

  3. I'm the only literate person left on the planet that hasn't read the Mortal Instrument Series I think lol Although, I think I may add both your choices to Mt. TBR :)

  5. Hi & Happy Friday!

A great answer! I haven't read CC's series but loved Amy Plum's 'Die for Me'.

    My FF,

    Have a nice weekend!

  6. Magnus for me is the only reason I'd want to visit that world, but too bad he swings for the other team! New follower. :)

  7. I enjoyed book one of the Immortal Instruments.. I should try the rest

  8. I've heard many good things about Die for Me. Should I check that out? Interesting choices, btw. :)

  9. Paris, oh my dream! Thanks for stopping by my place!

  10. I'm reading Die For Me right now. :-)
Just a few pages in but I can tell already that the book is a good one. Great pick!

  11. Wow! That's the second time I've seen Die for Me! It was such a different kind of book. Of course I'm seeing lots of popular repeats though! Doesn't matter! Love seeing all the different answers anyway!

  12. Ok, you are the millionth (slight exaggeration) person to mention The Mortal Instruments. I have to check out this series. My answer is Fablehaven series. The series revolves around a sanctuary for magical creatures (good and bad) The series is by Brandon Mull. Love his books.

    Have a great weekend

  16. This week’s Follow Friday question is a hoot! In typical Howard Sherman fashion my answer isn’t a book world. No way. Uh uh.

    I picked an imaginary UNIVERSE.

You know how the saying goes – if you’re going to dream, dream big!

And I did! Follow me back to my blog and explore this imaginary universe with me –

    Thank God it’s Follow Friday!

  17. Happy FF Kristin! :)

I can definitely get behind both of your choices. I especially enjoyed the unique mythology Amy Plum has created for her Revenants in Die For Me. I chose two of my favourite Urban Fantasy worlds, but I'd probably spend most of my time trying to stay out of harm's way!

  18. I would love to be a part of the shadowhunter world too, especially if Jace were real. *le sigh*

  19. Hi SexxyBlogger here....thanks so much for following. Haven't read Mortal Instruments yet, it's in my TBR pile...guess I'll have to get to it...have a great weekend!
